Usa's story

Overcoming Obstacles

Thailand native Usa Johnson has come a long way with her TNI business. It’s not just that she’s built it from the ground up, it’s what she’s overcome to do it.

“I used to work at McDonald’s all day and at Taco Bell at night,” she explains. This hard work was all in an effort to earn enough money to bring her son to the United States.

Once she met Russell Johnson (now her husband of 12 years), who introduced her to network marketing, Usa found another way. But it wasn’t until she found TNI in December of 1996 that her dreams began to materialize. She instantly believed in TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. But Usa still had an obstacle to overcome: shyness. “I had to overcome my fears and apprehensions of asking people to join me,” she explains.

Once Usa realized that she didn’t need to change anything about herself in order to succeed, her business took off. “Success comes with speaking genuinely about something you can really believe in,” she remarks.

“Now I love approaching new people and sharing with them the benefits of our products and introducing them to the income possibilities.”
